Willdan is looking to hire a Senior Project Manager to join their energy efficiency and existing building electrification programs team. You will be working with various internal and external stakeholders to lead and/or assist in developing new business and delivering strategic energy management services. energy efficiency, and building electrification programs and project services. The role will require a high level of collaboration and interaction, attention to detail, and an ability to navigate varying energy efficiency and electrification rebate programs on behalf of our clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the capture of value stackable financing and incentive programs for clients and program participants.
  • Identify, develop, launch, and scale new energy efficiency and electrification program and project measures.
  • Monitor legislative and regulatory environment to forecast changes in incentive availability and priorities.
  • Stakeholder management to secure and deliver varying stackable incentives and rebates to Willdan clients and program participants.
  • Drive projects to successful conclusion within scope, budget, and schedule to ensure that the business value of the project is achieved.
  • Track milestones and deliverables and provide regular status reporting to all levels of stakeholders (Executives, management, and project team members).
  • Participate in the development of new business through stakeholder engagement and response to various solicitations.
  • Escalate issues and risks and proactively take ownership for resolution.
  • Drive process and change management to achieve ROI and business value goals.

Job Requirements / Qualifications

  • Master's degree and 5 years of related experience OR Bachelor's degree and 7 years of related experience.
  • Experience and expertise will be valued higher than formal education.
  • Experience leading geographically dispersed teams a plus.
  • Direct experience securing and managing energy efficiency and building electrification project financing and incentives using a blend of in-house and external resources (vendors and contractors).
  • Proven success in a matrix environment where influence without direct authority is required.
  • Technical proficiency with energy efficiency and electrification technologies for the purposes of capturing and value stacking financing an incentives dollars.
  • Direct experience with business development and business strategy.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Excel and Office tools.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with proven ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Ability to deliver results that achieve business outcomes and lasting relationships.
  • Ability to align organizational and client goals with a focus on not only meeting project requirements but growing the business while meeting client needs.
  • Experienced in technical requirements and facilitating discussions with various stakeholders.
  • Energetic, self-confident, and persuasive with all levels of audiences.
  • Able to adapt to a fast-paced, quickly changing environment.
