Compliance Specialist

ArborOne Farm Credit, an agricultural lender, provides loans to farmers and rural residents in 12 counties in the Pee Dee region of South Carolina. We are a cooperative, which means we are in business to benefit our customer-owners. ArborOne strives to remain the lender of choice dedicated to providing agricultural lending and farm related services to rural families within our territory. We are also part of the nationwide Farm Credit System, a financial cooperative owned by its member-borrowers that has been serving the credit needs of rural South Carolina since 1916.

ArborOne Farm Credit is seeking a Compliance Specialist to refine and mature its existing compliance program. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in federal lending regulations and a history of managing an effective compliance program. Job responsibilities include overseeing compliance with Farm Credit Administration regulations and federal lending laws, development of policies and procedures, providing training and support to internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with all regulations and laws, and managing regulatory compliance reporting. Must be self-driven with proven communication, analytical, detail-oriented, and organizational skills.

Required Qualifications

Qualified applicants will have: a Bachelors Degree in a Business Related Field or the candidate should have equivalent related experience. Must have the ability to translate regulatory requirements into operational procedures and effectively communicate with a variety of internal stakeholder groups, be detail oriented, and be able to prioritize responsibilities and navigate stakeholder interactions with a high degree of professionalism. Proficient in MS Office and standard professional office technology.

Farm Credit experience, CRCM certification
