Primary Responsibilities:



  • Organizes and directs the clinical activities of the Practice Health and Safety Assessments
  • Works with the Clinical Educators in the development and updating of operational protocols/Policies
  • Travels to ambulatory care practices to perform assessments and education
  • Ensures complete and accurate documentation for the assessments and corrective action plans
  • Provide subject matter expertise and guidance regarding patient safety
  • Works collaboratively with other site nurse supervisors/site directors for practice health and safety issues organization wide
  • Coordinate with practice team members on remediation activities surrounding identified opportunities for improvement, from initiation through completion
  • Proactively identify support opportunities surrounding health and safety, clinical compliance, and quality improvement

Required Qualifications:



  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
  • Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license through the State of California
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers (America Heart Association) or ability to obtain at the time of hire



Preferred Qualifications:



  • BSN degree
  • 3+ years of experience working as a Registered Nurse
  • Experience in an ambulatory care setting and/or specialty areas



California Residents Only: The hourly range for this role is $28.03 to $54.95 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
