Digital Content Manager - PT

A creative and future-minded multi-platform sports network is seeking a part-time Digital Content Manager to produce and manage content for the web, apps and content partners. As the only major national sports network in the Midwest, Stadium offers a unique opportunity for the sports fan looking for an organization that can offer them growth and the opportunity to create work that matters.

Part-time Digital Content Managers produce content and metadata, which includes producing and editing videos, writing titles and descriptions for VODs, uploading videos to Stadium distribution platforms and packaging content to create optimal viewer experience.

Job Responsibilities:




  • Uploads video content to Stadium owned & operated platforms and YouTube
  • Produces and edits highlights for college football, basketball and MLB
  • Writes titles and descriptions for videos; adds tags and keywords as necessary
  • Creates thumbnail graphics using Photoshop
  • Maintains a style and voice consistent with Stadium guidelines
  • Collaborates with departments including production, social and sales teams as necessary
  • Assists with management of the Stadium ticker
  • Assists the Director of Digital Content as needed


Minimum Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in writing, communications or digital media-related field
  • Expert knowledge of the college and pro sports landscapes
  • Experience with digital content management systems
  • Some Photoshop experience
  • Experience with Adobe Premiere and AfterEffects
  • Basic social media experience
  • Demonstrated experience in new media, digital and journalism
  • Working knowledge of production/broadcast environment
  • Excellent writing, editing and communication skills
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills and ability to work quickly
  • Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work well with other people in a team-oriented environment
  • Flexibility to work days, nights and weekends as needed
