Who We're Looking For

Toyota Financial Services (TFS) is looking for a highly motivated person to fill a role as a Software Engineer - ServiceNow Developer.

The main responsibility of the ServiceNow Software Engineer is to build and implement top-tier, scalable solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The ServiceNow Software Engineer will work in a cross-functional development team gathering business requirements, integrating architectural designs, and producing comprehensive functional/technical code and configurations for the ServiceNow platform.

What you'll be doing

  • Thorough understanding of End-to-end ServiceNow Platform Applications, Features, Architecture, Design, CSDM, and basic and foundational technical elements.
  • Responsible for Designing, Configuring, Developing, Troubleshooting, and Implementing Applications to enhance the Platform.
  • Responsible for Technical design, ServiceNow code and architecture, and working with key Business Domains to build solutions and processes, supporting and maintaining, continual service improvement and deploying new capabilities.
  • Provide technical guidance on existing workflows for streamlining and improved efficiencies.
  • Participate in the upgrade cycle of ServiceNow including testing.
  • Maintain an ongoing knowledge of ServiceNow products, version upgrades, and new features.
  • Working on an Agile Team implementing core ServiceNow modules such as Asset Management, Configuration Management, CMDB, Integrations, UI, ITSM, Automation
  • Design and develop custom-scoped applications on the Platform.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and other application owners for inter-dependent work
  • Effectively convey technical concepts, updates, and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to identify and mitigate security risks in ServiceNow platform, ensuring software delivery processes' confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline or equivalent work experience is required
  • Certified Developer - ServiceNow
  • Comfortable working in a highly agile, intensely iterative software development process
  • Experience with performance and optimization problems and a demonstrated ability to both diagnose and prevent these problems.
  • Experience in the financial services industry is a plus.

Added bonus if you have

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Certified ServiceNow Administrator
  • Experience with End-to-end ServiceNow Platform Applications, Features, Architecture, Design, CSDM, and basic and foundational technical elements.
  • In-depth knowledge of SaaS applications, REST/SOAP APIs, and experience building integrations
  • DevSecOps, Agile methodology, Jira, CI/CD Pipelines, Automated deployments
  • Experience with performance architecture, tuning, and debugging distributed systems
