Lead Product Manager, Product lifecycles

In this role, you will take a backward working approach focusing on a customer-centric approach to identifying, innovative ideas to address industry challenges in a strategic, agile manner. To support this work, Vizient is seeking a Lead Product Manager to lead, facilitate and support the overall operations and coordination of the Product Operating Model (POM) process. The facilitator solicits ideas to be introduced into the organization for senior leadership consideration as well as help coordinating and facilitate senior leader meeting agendas and materials and disseminating decisions to key stakeholders of the POM process.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all customer problems (internal and external) are understood, documented and vetted.
  • Ensure that all problem statements are aligned with PSM North Star, prioritized, and ready for Council or PLM approval. Ensure that all problem statements are aligned.
  • Ensure that the PSM community has the resources and skills to maintain a customer-centric culture.
  • Ensure that the business and stakeholder community know and understand their impact on the Product Operating Model (POM).
  • Acts as subject matter expert in articulating customer challenges and knowledge assessing milestones and resources needed to support addressing those challenges, i.e., Working Backward mindset.
  • Sits in POM Council as a stakeholder and voting member representing the POM Portfolio (what has been approved, updates on returning initiatives, general continuity of the portfolio)
  • Partner with application development and project management teams to translate business requirements into technical language for development.
  • Enable effective agile development by representing the product team in sprint planning, sprint reviews and SCRUM ceremonies.
  • Actively collect and analyze the regulatory environment, competitive intelligence, marketing research, market trends, and other data points associated with data acquisition and interoperability offerings.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree in business-related or analytical discipline preferred. MBA, MPH or MHA desired.
  • 7 or more years' relevant experience in a product management/product ownership role required.
  • Experience developing data digital products desired.
  • Strong experience leading a team of Product Managers.
  • Experience working with data specifications and data mapping between systems desired.
  • Experience with EMR's, ERP's interoperability software or data standards preferred.
  • Experience working in an agile development environment preferred.
  • Strong project management skills organizational, interpersonal and communication skills. preferred.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $102,400.00 to $168,800.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
