Job Duties and Responsibilities Duties and Responsibilities: * Program CMM machine * Layout parts using CMM machine. * Do dimensional studies using CMM machine. Education and/or Experience: * Degree in a technical field and/or equivalent experience. Requirements * Coordinate incoming inspection work to ensure customer-timing needs are met. * Familiar with IATF16949 requirements * PPAP, SPC, Advanced GD&T, Blueprint reading, Strong math skills (trigonometry) required. * Interpret engineering drawings in order to perform requested inspections. * Must have experience in programming and operating CMM equipment. * Must have good people skills. * Must have the ability to work within a team environment. * Strong computer skills. * Perform dimensional layout inspections using the proper equipment (CMM, height gauges, micrometers, vernier calipers, optical comparator, dial indicators, and hardness tester). * Strong communication skills (both written and oral). * Perform all inspection equipment calibrations. * Make necessary arrangements when external calibrations are required. * Keep proper records of calibration. * Maintain a professional appearance of the test facility. * Enforce and conduct good housekeeping.
