Part-Time Faculty in the Department of the Arts

Discipline: Woodturning

Minimum Requirements:

• Earned Master's degree in Woodworking, Furniture Design, Sculpture, or a closely related Visual Arts field.

• Working knowledge of woodworking equipment, especially lathes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Teaching experience with "between center" or spindle turning and "bowl" or faceplate turning.

• Experience in higher education, preferably with community college students and Pedagogy.

• Demonstrated ability to teach Woodturning effectively.
