We have spared no expense for our new CNC Machining Facility in Chandler by equipping it with Hermle RS2 Robot Cells that use 6-axis Kuka Robot feeding pairs of Hermle C22U 5-axis Machining Centers and 72 Hermle 5-axis CNCs with advanced automation technologies that uses Swiss fixturing and Robotics from Erowa.

Where You Come In...

Advantest's Cloud Solutions create and maintain application and data infrastructure tools that reinforce Advantest as a leader in the semiconductor testing industry. Our solutions consist of multiple components deployed on the cloud and at the edge on the Factory Floor. A key component is the Application Hub, which enables customers to deploy ML-based applications on the semiconductor Factory Floor. The Application Hub allows customers to deploy, manage, and monitor their applications. We are seeking a Lead Backend Engineer to develop and support the Application Hub, driving it to the next level.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead the overall design and hands-on development of the Application Hub.
• Own backend development using Java, Python, and other languages.
• Manage cloud operations, including CI/CD, production support, and internal support.
• Collaborate with customers, product management, support, and other leads to identify gaps and potential solutions.
• Provide technical expertise to design, deploy, and optimize cloud services, integrating them with edge software.
• Support effective testing of the Application Hub.
• Assist in documenting the components.
• Support and guide the company's software engineering processes and operate our cloud platforms.
• Participate in on-call duties, identify issues, drive them to resolution, and conduct blameless root cause analyses (RCA).
• Mentor and guide less experienced team members.
• Advocate for reliable and resilient service development within the team.
