Salary and Benefits
This position is in Salary Grade PM IV, with a minimum salary of $51,264 per annum. The successful candidate's salary will be calculated based on education and experience within the grade range.

General Description
The purpose of the Apprenticeship & Workforce Development Advisor position is to serve in a supportive and collaborative student focused capacity reporting to the Associate Director of Apprenticeship programs. The Advisor will help to coordinate the daily functions of the Apprenticeship Program in accordance with college policies, procedures and contractual agreements, and college/pathway strategic planning goals and objectives of Northeast Community College. This position is responsible for assisting with the comprehensive coordination and administration of all matters relating to apprenticeships and workforce development advising including: career advising, scheduling, grant discovery, assisting external partners, onboarding of employers and apprentices, monitoring student progress, maintaining requested records, funds stewardship, and addressing other issues impacting academic success. Other duties include regular check-in with apprentices at their workplace, collecting and tabulating evaluation data from program participants, assisting with outreach and marketing efforts, and attending annual advisory meetings for businesses involved in the apprenticeship program. Develop technical assistance resources as requested by the Associate Director of Apprenticeship.
Qualifications: Education
Bachelor's Degree in a related field required.
Qualification:Experience
Over one year up to and including 3 years experience in a related field.
Qualification:Skills
Advanced knowledge of apprenticeship system, legislation and regulations respecting the apprenticeship programs and working knowledge of post-secondary education.
