We are currently seeking a Quality Inspector, Monday-Friday Day Shift with the below qualifications:

Professional Attributes



  • Perform First Article inspections, establishing measurement methodologies
  • Perform Capability Studies as required.
  • Collect, catalog and store all First Article samples through end of product life.
  • Perform filing and other clerical duties as required by the Quality Engineer.
  • Calibrate, maintain, identify and store measuring equipment used in the Quality Lab
  • Assist Quality Engineers.
  • Read, write and interpret general business and technical documents.
  • Write reports, instructions, procedures, and other business correspondence.
  • Communicate on a technical basis with other functional departments,
  • Communicate with inspectors on both technical and procedural aspects of their jobs.
  • May assist Quality Engineers with customers on resolving inspection issues.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Desired Skills and Experience



  • High School graduate.
  • 2-3 years' experience as a mechanical inspector with increasing levels of responsibility
  • 2-3 years' experience in plastic injection molding
  • Experience with Laser Scanning, Contact CMM and Optical CMMs.
  • Working knowledge of PCDMIS, Measure Mind and MCOSMOS
  • Blueprint reading, including knowledge in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and ANSI Y14.5.
  • Proficient in trigonometry.
  • Understands theory and uses of SPC, SQC and process capability studies.
  • Proficient in Excel and Word.
  • Knowledge and use of measuring and layout instruments and gauges.
