The Opportunity:

Join our team as a Tax Manager, where your financial expertise will be pivotal in shaping our organization's tax strategy and compliance. In this critical role, you'll oversee and manage our tax reporting, ensuring we meet all local, state, and federal tax regulations. Your efforts will minimize tax liabilities and risks, safeguarding our financial health.

What You'll Do:
  • Support the federal consolidated and state tax return along with required attachments & disclosures. Includes income, franchise, gross receipts, excise, sales & use tax and property taxes.
  • Support the tax provision under the private company reporting requirements.
  • Deliver outcomes for designated tax areas by working within established tax systems as well as support and implement new tax processes
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of financial policies, guidelines, and protocols to ensure the company complies with regulations and good financial practice
  • Use data from a wide range of sources to analyze key themes and identify possible impacts on the business.
  • Resolve queries from internal or external customers or suppliers by providing information on complex processes and the related policies, referring issues to others where necessary for interpretation of policy.
  • Maintain and renew a deep knowledge and understanding of the organization's policies and procedures and of relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct, and ensure own work adheres to required standards.
  • Identify, within the team, patterns of noncompliance with the organization's policies and procedures and with relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct, taking appropriate action to report and resolve these and escalating issues as appropriate.
  • Continually look for ways to streamline and automate tax processes, and reporting obligations.
  • Plan and manage the delivery of an audit program in a single discipline, ensuring that the program addresses identified risk areas. Monitor the closeout of audit findings to ensure that established corrective actions are implemented and that risks are managed effectively; refer major issues or inadequate responses through the management line.
  • Carry out a range of research activities either to support others or to fulfill the requirements of the role.
  • Carry out routine support to perform business case development, financial and tax modeling, reconciliations, and accounting and valuation analyses.
What You Need:
  • 6 to 10 years of comprehensive job-related experience
  • 1+ years of experience coordinating the work of others
