Job Description

Loadbuilders are responsible for fulfilling our promise of quality material and elevated service standards for customers that request their material to be delivered. Building each delivery with care to ensure that the products are accurate, of good quality, well secured, and protected against weather and damage, our Loadbuilders faithfully fulfill our brand service values. Loadbuilders are key in our ability to deliver a superior level of service that will make and maintain lasting relationships with our customers. This position requires personal accountability, great communication, and excellent work ethic.

Qualifications

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Builds delivery loads for safe transport and delivery

* Pulls all building material as safely and efficiently as possible

* Protects weather sensitive material

* Uses forklifts to safely transport products

* Understands and follows Dunn Lumber Co. Delivery policies and procedures

* Maintains and follows delivery procedures for adding notes and picking orders per the delivery policy

* Stocks products as needed

* Assists other departments as needed

* Maintains a clean work environment

* Helps customers as needed

* Assembles loads with the customers project needs in mind whenever safely possible

* Other duties as assigned

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is subject to very heavy work. Exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects

Work Environment

This job constantly operates in outdoor weather conditions.

This is an entry level position with a two-week training period and continued learning while employed. The two-week training is completed on site with your supervisor or at a Training Yard with the Training Department. The training for this position will focus on product knowledge, Point of Sale software, and yard operations.

This position is in a retail store environment. This position is largely sedentary with stools at each station. The noise level is moderate.
