Job Posting: Senior Systems Engineer

Summary: As a Senior Systems Engineer at our company, you will leverage scientific and mathematical discoveries to design and develop cutting-edge wireless systems solutions. Utilizing differential equations, calculus, statistics, and physical systems approaches, you will play a critical role in creating robust, scalable systems that meet our clients' performance requirements.

Supervisory Responsibilities: N/A

Essential Functions:



  • Design various radio and microwave, in-building, and wireless network systems.
  • Provide technical expertise to sales, service teams, and clients through in-person and remote support.
  • Develop Statements of Work (SOW), system optimization procedures, and Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) for proof of performance criteria.
  • Create system drawings using Microsoft Office Visio and/or AutoCAD.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure systems are robust, scalable, and meet performance requirements.
  • Define system requirements and specifications based on customer needs.
  • Create and maintain system architecture and design documents.
  • Develop and execute system integration plans and test procedures.
  • Provide technical support during system installation and commissioning.
  • Ensure systems comply with industry standards and regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues and defects.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.



Qualifications

Other Functions and Requirements: Tasks may include but are not limited to:



  • 5+ years of experience in system design and development.
  • Strong knowledge of system architecture and design principles.
  • Experience with developing complex systems using various technologies.
  • Familiarity with hardware and software integration.
  • Ability to develop system requirements and specifications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
  • Ability to mentor and provide technical leadership to junior engineers.


Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent from a four-year college or university specializing in RF Engineering; or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Licenses, Certifications: Valid Driver's License; FCC General Class License preferred.
