Summary: This role serves as a vital Project Coordinator within Day Wireless Systems, collaborating closely with the esteemed engineering team. Reporting directly to the Principal Telecom Engineer, the Project Coordinator plays a pivotal role in coordinating and facilitating project activities.

Responsibilities:




  • Project Workflow Management:



    • Effectively manage the workflow of design projects, including timelines, scheduling, and resource allocation.
    • Assign tasks promptly to engineers across different business areas within Day Wireless Systems.
    • Ensure accountability of engineers in meeting project deadlines and delivering high-quality results.



  • Customer Engagement:



    • Engage with customers to gather comprehensive information required for project execution.
    • Provide excellent customer service, handling inquiries and assisting customers professionally.



  • Documentation and Administrative Support:



    • Create and manage project modules in NetSuite, ensuring accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
    • Maintain detailed meeting minutes and utilize Microsoft Office suite, Gantt charts, and Microsoft Project for project management tasks.
    • Process sales orders related to projects with accuracy and timeliness.



  • Project Management:



    • Lead project planning and implementation, ensuring successful execution from start to finish.
    • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in alignment with stakeholders' expectations.
    • Manage project scope, risks, tasks, resources, budget, and schedule effectively.
    • Monitor project progress, track deliverables, and report regularly to stakeholders.
    • Foster collaboration among project teams and maintain strong client relationships.



  • Quality and Financial Management:



    • Ensure adherence to quality standards and implement process improvements as needed.
    • Manage project financials, analyze profitability, revenue, and budget utilization.
    • Forecast revenue, profits, and losses accurately and seek opportunities for cost savings.
    • Meet safety, company, and project financial goals while ensuring customer satisfaction.



  • Sales and Business Development:



    • Build and develop business relationships critical to project success and future opportunities.
    • Identify partnership opportunities and capitalize on additional sales across projects.





Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Working Conditions: This role operates primarily in an office environment but may require travel to project sites or customer locations.

Qualifications

Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience (X years) as a Project Coordinator or similar role in engineering or telecommunications.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, able to work effectively under pressure.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as NetSuite, Microsoft Project, and Gantt charts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-oriented approach.
  • Ability to travel to customer and partner locations as required.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
  • Experience in the telecommunications industry.
  • Familiarity with engineering principles and project management methodologies.
