OVERVIEW:

The Youth Center Coordinator is responsible for all programs related to the Community Center, as well as to assist with various duties in the office as assigned by the Center Coordinator.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Oversee all Community Center programs
  • Responsible for recruiting, training, and supervising all program staff and volunteers
  • Develop positive relationships with the Administration, teachers, and service clubs of local schools
  • Responsible for recording and maintaining all necessary forms for individuals
  • Assist with Center programs
  • Other related duties as required


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:



  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • CA driver's license (required)
  • 21 years of age (required)
  • Experience with Microsoft programs
  • Experience working with children
  • Experience supervising a team


SKILLS AND ABILITIES:



  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Self-starter
  • Great communication skills


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:



  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. (usually file boxes)

  • Modern Office Equipment and Relevant Software
