The Senior Associate, HRIS & Payroll will be part of the HRIS & Payroll Team and is instrumental in maintaining and protecting employee records, paying employees accurately and timely, and ensuring compliance with company policies and state, federal, and International laws. We ensure that the organization's most important asset - its employees - are well-equipped to succeed in their roles.

Responsibilities:

  • Process semi-monthly and bi-weekly payroll for approximately 1,800 employees, including pay changes, data validations
  • Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve any issues promptly
  • Process employee wage garnishments
  • Review and respond to payroll tax notices
  • Record all Payroll Journal & Benefit Entries, calculate and record Incentive Accruals
  • Reconcile payroll general ledger accounts on a monthly basis
  • Perform audits on employee data
  • Run Reports and Create custom reports in ADP as needed
  • Maintain ADP WFN HRIS System - validation tables, time & attendance, payroll codes
  • Respond promptly and courteously to all inquiries from employees and management
  • Maintain employee records/information on an ongoing basis while maintaining confidentiality and protecting payroll data

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degreein Accounting, finance, or a related field preferred or at least 10 years equivalent experience
  • 3 years of progressive accounting and/or payroll experience preferred
  • 3 years of ADP experience preferred
  • Experience with SAP preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, with an emphasis on Excel
  • General Knowledge of Human Resources
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with accounting principles and practices
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage relationships
  • Demonstrated desire to learn about the Company and the renewables space
  • Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Teams
  • Strong organization skills and ability to coordinate multiple tasks and deliverables
  • Motivated self-starter, goal-oriented, and strong problem-solving abilities
  • Responds well to direction, is easy to challenge and develop, and is coachable
  • Is detail-oriented, has strong business acumen, and a sound understanding of business concepts

Pay range: The annual base salary range for this position in New York is $71,000 - $106,400. The listed salary range represents our good faith estimate for this position and represents the range for new hire salaries across all U.S locations. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. RWE considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's education & work experience, training & certifications, and key skills as well as market and business considerations at the time of the offer.
