Description

Position Summary: Perform a wide range of administrative and office support activities for the DOT Compliance department and/or managers and supervisors to facilitate the efficient operation of the department.






Position Requirements


  • Maintain office filing and storage systems, such as driver files and logs.
  • Assist the DOT Compliance Manager(s) with DOT related tasks, inspections, and reports.
  • Assist with site audits.
  • Update and maintain databases (i.e. ViewPoint, eScreen, EHS Insight, Fleet Safety/Telematics System, Samba Safety, etc.)
  • Retrieve fleet information from DOT and monitor driver and company compliance.
  • Coordinate and maintain both electronic and hard copy driver administrative records, such as Driver Qualification Files, Training Records, Employment Investigations, Drug and Alcohol Files, and Motor Vehicle Records.
  • Monitor CSA Scores.
  • Maintain DOT Reportable and Preventable log.
  • Prepare documents, reports, and correspondence.
  • Other duties as assigned.



Education and Experience:



  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience with Department of Transportation/Federal Motor Carriers Safety Administration compliance highly preferred
  • Advanced computer skills required, including MS Office
  • Advanced internet skills required, including use of e-mails, group messaging, and data collection.
