Typical Day in the Life

The Sales Development Supervisor will be responsible for managing and mentoring a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) while also meeting individual sales goals. This dual-role position requires a blend of leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on sales expertise.

A typical day as the Sales Development Supervisor might include:

  • Team Leadership and Management
    • Recruit, train, and manage team of SDRs
    • Set and track team performance goals - providing regular feedback and coaching to ensure targets are met
    • Develop & implement sales development strategies and processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of team
    • Conduct regular meetings and 1-1 sessions to monitor progress and address challenges
    • Collaborate with other sales leaders on best practices
  • Reporting and Analytics
    • Utilize CRM tool to manage and analyze sales activities and pipeline
    • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for both team and individual sales activities
    • Analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement
    • Prepare regular sales forecasts and reports for senior management
  • Lead Generation: Identify and research potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, social media, and networking events.
  • Prospecting: Reach out to potential clients to introduce our services, understand their needs, and qualify them as potential leads.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospects to qualify them for the sales funnel.
  • Appointment Setting: Schedule meetings and appointments for the sales team with qualified leads.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of our firm's services and be able to effectively communicate the value propositions to potential clients.
  • CRM Management: Accurately record and manage all lead and prospect interactions in the CRM system, ensuring up-to-date and organized records.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and market conditions to identify new opportunities.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to develop and execute targeted outreach strategies and campaigns.
  • Performance Metrics: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for lead generation, qualified leads, and appointments set.

Who You Are

  • 5+ years of experience in a sales development or similar role, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Prior management/supervisory experience strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Highly self-motivated and results-driven, with a strong work ethic and a passion for sales.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and other sales tools. Familiarity with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Benefits and Compensation

Our compensation philosophy emphasizes competitive and equitable pay. Eide Bailly complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying salary ranges. Final compensation decisions are dependent upon factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and internal equity.

Base Salary Range: $90,000 to $110,000 with performance-based incentives

Beyond base salary, Eide Bailly provides benefits such as: generous paid time off, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) profit sharing, life and disability insurance, lifestyle spending account, certification incentives, education assistance, and a referral program.
