We are currently seeking a Sr. MMIS Technical Analyst (100% Remote) to join our team in Nashville, Tennessee (US-TN), United States (US).

Overview of job:

This Senior Technical Analyst Consultant (Sr. TA Consultant) will be a valued member of the client's Business Services Support team. The Sr. TA Consultant is expected to work independently and collaboratively with the client, team members, and other vendors working on the client's projects and initiatives. The candidate will work with the client providing technical and project expertise to assist with modernizing their Medicaid Enterprise and enhancing their existing Medicaid operations, with primary focus on MMIS or other Medicaid Enterprise systems..

Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Review and validate technical artifacts, process flows, requirements, design, test scripts, and test results artifacts
  • Identify and support resolution of risks and issues impacting progress and outcome of the project
  • Research and provide recommendations to the client on critical technical decisions
  • Validate that system functionality has been implemented and satisfies the project requirements
  • Assist with implementation and changes during all project phases, including operations and maintenance phase, within assigned technical areas
  • Contribute to the project's overall understanding of technical requirements for multiple program areas
  • Collaborate with other project areas and team members to provide subject matter expertise and assistance, as applicable
  • Perform periodic assessment activities with focus on requirements traceability and testing
  • Attend project and status meetings
  • Ensure that all project identified processes and methodologies are followed, as applicable
  • Actively align work to internal and client standards, processes, and procedures
  • Execute test scripts for various projects, as requested by the client
  • Assist with Operations strategy and direction
  • Proactively research and analyze data from Eligibility and Enrollment systems and other Medicaid Enterprise systems to identify issues, complete root cause analysis, document findings and present recommendations to client
  • Develop and run SQL queries for use in researching discrepancies
  • Participate in data conversion mapping and data conversion validation
  • Employee is expected to undertake any additional duties as they are assigned by their manager

Basic Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or equivalent work experience
  • A minimum of 10 years as a Technical Analyst
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience working on MMIS and/or Medicaid Eligibility system architectures, networks, and data exchange formats
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in writing SQLs and other database queries
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience with SDLC and traditional waterfall development methodology
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience conducting meetings, interviews and making presentations
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience working in a multi-vendor collaborative environment
  • The position is 100% Remote, however there could be occasional travel to Nashville, TN

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA, ARRA, ACA, and other security requirements is a plus
  • Experience with ITIL, EA (FEAF, TOGAF), MITA, CAQH CORE is a plus
  • Familiar with Service Oriented Architectures and Shared Services
  • Ability to apply industry best practices and future state/federal mandates to existing systems and future systems
  • Experience with TennCare Medicaid

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $89,032 to $130,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
