The Senior Director, People Management is the leader of the Business Partnering department and provides human resource consultancy to business leaders in the organization. This role plays a vital part in connecting Human Resources with the business side of a company to achieve its goals. They are responsible for adding value to the organization and helping the business make decisions, especially during times of change. In this role you will maintain a full perspective of the business at all times, placing emphasis on employee relations, policies, and people management procedures in application across the business. As a the People Management Leader, you will partner with the other HR Leaders in the deliberation and establishment of both short and long-term departmental strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Providestrategic HR Business Partner leadership to Senior Leadership team and their respective teams to maximize business performance and foster cooperation across the company
  • Proactively identify and address critical organizational and people issues, and remove barriers impeding the success of the business
  • Build future bench and upscale capabilities through development of top talent and strategic hires
  • Ensure the implementation of the optimal organization design to enable the leadership team and the organization to scale
  • Deliver, in partnership with our COEs, HR cyclical programs to the business, as well as lead unique HR initiatives and projects with global impact to the HR organization as needed
  • Guide business leaders to relay key performance indicators (KPIs), performance goals and ratings to their employees
  • Instill a culture that resonates with RWE Clean Energy's values and identity

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of ten (10)years of human resources management experience required including managing a team, with strategic, talent management, and/or business development experience highly preferred
  • Current human resources and/or compensation credentials or certification, such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred
  • Demonstratedand successful ability to build, lead, and integrate effective and lasting peoplemanagement programs within a business
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills orally and in writing to transmit messages and information in a clear and engaging manner
  • Advanced Knowledge of MS Office Tools & other tools relevant for the role
  • Advanced knowledge of employment laws
  • Strong interpersonal relationship strengths
  • Able to work within a feedback culture and modelactively respondingupon
  • Intrinsic motivation to drive process optimization and willingness to change
