As an Accounts Payable Systems Analyst (AP Systems Analyst) at Corcentric, you will join a fun, collaborative team within an ambitious, entrepreneurial global organization. You will support our customers' accounts payable and procurement processes delivered through Corcentric Platform technology solutions. You will become an expert in our accounts payable management solutions including supplier onboarding, invoice processing and payments. That expertise will be used to drive significant value, continuous improvement, and automation. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, analytical skills, and strong communication abilities to effectively support and optimize accounts payable processes.

  • Cherry Hill, NJ
  • Downers Grove, IL

This role may be eligible for voluntary work-from-home consideration. In order to be considered for this position, you should live within a commutable distance to one of these office locations, even if you plan to request a work-from-home arrangement, as there may be times when in-person meetings, training sessions, social events, or similar activities are held onsite.

As an AP Systems Analyst, you will:

  • Develop a deep understanding of your assigned customers business and processes.
  • Define success in terms of your customer's point of view and drive customer satisfaction.
  • Document new and maintain current processes and procedure documentation to ensure consistency and to aid in the identification of efficiency opportunities.
  • Manage daily and weekly responsibilities related to invoice processing including accurately review and code vendor invoices, update and document invoices to clear exceptions, and review reports to monitor for errors.
  • Evaluate existing accounts payable systems, processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimization to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Analyze system requirements and recommend solutions to streamline AP operations.
  • Collaborate with Business Process Managers and Product Development teams to implement new accounts payable or supplier onboarding systems or upgrades.
  • Ensure seamless integration between AP systems and customer's financial systems.
  • Conduct testing, debugging, and troubleshooting during system implementation phases and product release upgrades.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement to reduce manual intervention.
  • Perform Purchase Order / 3-Way match processing and reconciliation.
  • Support user and supplier adoption into the Corcentric invoice and payment processes and solutions, enabling them for self-service.
  • Produce identified metric reports to reflect status of invoice processing and exceptions or similar activities against customer program objectives and service levels.
  • Develop insights and present recommendations through reviews of weekly/monthly reports and trends.
  • Escalate any and all roadblocks quickly and to the appropriate internal party based on the issue
  • Analyze and resolve discrepancies in billings.
  • Perform system administration and configuration for your assigned customers master data and processes.
  • Support invoice-related support cases. May require direct customer interaction via email or direct phone calls, including managing ticket queue and adherence to follow up time service levels.
  • Contribute to department projects as necessary.

You'll need to have:

  • A degree in a relevant discipline (i.e. Computer Information System, Accounting, Finance or Business) or comparable training/work experience
  • 2+ years of experience in accounts payable function or related experience
  • Experience with various types of software platforms to support the Accounts Payable and Supplier Onboarding processes
  • Experience with systems implementation, integration and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with process automation tools and workflow optimization techniques
  • Forward thinking, looking to innovate and improve processes
  • Strong research and problem solving skills
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to exhibit composure, patience and confidence when facing difficult situations
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with data analysis tools and reporting
  • Proficient to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
