Financial Budget Planning Analyst

The Opportunity:

The right mixture of great ideas and funding can create change. In a complex organization, allocating funding to where it can be most effective can be challenging. That's why we need you, a financial analyst who can easily navigate the requirements, policies, and regulations that govern funding, to make sure our client's resources can make the most impact.

As a financial analyst on our team, you'll create a financial management strategy to help your client's project succeed. You'll work with project managers, schedulers, and task leads to develop an actionable plan for your client to secure the funding needed to achieve their goals.

Using your knowledge of laws, regulations, and policies, you'll help your client develop well-formed requirements. Once the funding is in place, you'll make sure the funding is used efficiently through consistent tracking and communication with project managers, schedulers, and task leads. This is your chance to work on high-level telecommunications procurement projects while imparting your financial analysis expertise to your team.

You Have:

  • Experience with performing financial analysis

  • Experience with productivity and management methods, including quality control, process or statusreports,budgetary statusreports, or program reviews

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel

  • Knowledge of DoD Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution(PPBE) process for allocating resources

  • Ability to work with functional specialists, automation specialists, contractors, vendors, and customers to automate the client's requirements into automated applications

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Bachelor's degree and 18+ years of experience in a professional work environment, or Master's degree and 15+ years of experience in a professional work environment

Nice If You Have:

  • Microsoft Office Suite Certification

  • Microsoft Excel Subject Matter Expert Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
