Marvell Technology is embarking on a pivotal transformation to become an intelligent enterprise and is seeking a Senior Director of Data Office to lead this strategic evolution. Key Responsibilities

Data Governance:

  • Develop and implement data governance frameworks, policies, and practices to ensure data quality, privacy, and security.
  • Lead the Data Governance Committee, aligning cross-functional teams on data-related initiatives.
  • Establish data stewardship programs to promote data ownership and accountability.

Data Science:

  • Define and execute data science strategies to address complex business challenges.
  • Oversee the development of predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and advanced analytics.
  • Collaborate with business units to identify and prioritize opportunities for data-driven insights and AI applications.

Data Engineering:

  • Lead the data engineering team to maintain and optimize scalable data architectures, pipelines, and systems.
  • Identify and implement new technologies and methodologies to establish a comprehensive data lake.
  • Ensure efficient integration and management of various data sources.

Analytics:

  • Lead the analytics team to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
  • Identify and implement advanced analytics solutions and technologies to drive performance measurement and improvement.
  • Foster innovation through the application of data science and analytics, integrating AI and machine learning capabilities into data pipelines for advanced analytics and predictive modeling.

Data-Driven Transformation:

  • Champion a data-driven culture across the organization, promoting the use of data to drive business decisions.
  • Lead initiatives to integrate data-driven insights and AI into business processes and strategies.

What We're Looking For

  • Masters or equivalent in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical field.
  • A substantial track record in spearheading enterprise-level data initiatives, with demonstrated success in large-scale business transformation.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of data technologies and their direct application in enhancing business processes.
  • Exceptional leadership capabilities with a proven history of building, mentoring, and leading a team of data professionals.
  • Advanced executive communication skills, adept at conveying complex data concepts to a diverse range of stakeholders effectively.
  • A strategic and forward-thinking mindset with a clear passion for leveraging technology to drive substantial change within a business setting.
  • Experience in navigating large business transformations with a focus on strategic planning, execution, and change management.

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

185,650 - 278,100, $ per annum

The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.

At Marvell, we offer a total compensation package with a base, bonus and equity.Health and financial wellbeing are part of the package.
