Description

RoadSafe is seeking to hire a highly motivated Sales Manager who will be responsible for core product sales, rentals, and services in Kentucky & Tennessee. We are seeking qualified candidates with five (5) years or more of outside sales experience to represent our company in mature marketplaces. Responsibilities include managing sales & marketing strategies, hitting revenue targets, growing the sales pipeline, and increasing the customer base. Performance will be tracked by revenue targets, profitability, order conversion, sales pipeline & customer touches.

Product(s):

Products to manage include (but not limited to) crash cushions, truck mounted attenuators, TMA truck rentals & sales, and roadside delineators

Scope:

The Sales Manager's position involves account management, new business development, contract negotiations, and key marketing efforts to ensure future growth.

Responsibilities include:



  • Achieving growth and hitting sales targets by successfully managing the sales process
  • Designing and implementing a strategic sales plan that expands the company's customer base and ensure its strong presence.
  • Engage Engineering Consultants and DOT officials to ensure standards and specifications help drive product sales
  • Oversee & Manage DOT and local roadway agencies contract lettings for opportunities pertaining to the company's product and service offering
  • Plan grass roots marketing campaigns to penetrate new market
  • Offer continuous training to customers to ensure a high-level of customer service and product knowledge
  • Submit weekly activity report concentrating on weekly sales data, pipeline opportunities, competitive information, and highlights.
  • Prepare sales data for presentation during monthly sales review & outlook meetings
  • Work with Senior Regional Account Manager and Operations Manager to determine accurate levels of rental assets and inventory for on-time services by maintaining an accurate sales order backlog
  • Monitor existing product lines for continuous improvement, as well as proposing new products lines for future growth
  • Represent company at industry conferences & tradeshows and attend organization events to promote company
