Summary

The Security Architect Leads the overall project design for our customer. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the project aligns with security best practices and the client's requirements. They will be responsible for defining the secure virtualized environment and overseeing platform integration.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to Security Analysts and Security Engineers
  • Oversee training and onboarding of new coworkers in the department.
  • Maintain open communication to all stakeholders keeping them current on status.
  • Continuously research cybersecurity trends and emerging security technologies
  • Determine operating requirements, costs, as well as resource needs for assigned projects
  • Develop, implement and maintain the information security safeguards and measures to enforce CDW information security policies, standards, and procedures
  • Consult with internal business partners to identify security requirements and implement necessary security controls
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and vendors
  • Minimal travel

Education and/or Experience Qualifications

  • Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Required experience includes Masters degree in a technical field and 2 to 5 years of related experience or Bachelors degree in a technical field and 5 to 10 years of related experience or Associates degree in a technical field and 10 to 15 years of related experience.
  • Requires demonstrated in-depth knowledge and leadership skills in networking, security, and UC.
