Job Description

Primary Function: The Documentation Clerk supports a variety of departments by creating, filing, and maintaining documents. While this can involve many specific duties related to document control and management, most of the day-to-day duties will involve scanning and photocopying documents from a variety of departments to an archiving system. This position also cross trains in Shipping to include packaging product for shipment, performing stock transactions, and ensuring proper paperwork

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Able to read and comprehend English.
  • Able to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with tens and 100s.
  • Able to use Microsoft Office applications.
  • Able to communicate effectively with co-workers.
  • Able to meet individual productivity and internal quality requirements.
  • Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Able to write simple correspondence.
  • Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Able to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Frequent sitting, talking, using hands to handle or feel, and hearing required.
  • Occasional standing, walking, driving, reaching above shoulder level, reaching below shoulder level, stooping or squatting, and pushing or pulling, required. Lifts and carries up to 35lbs occasionally.
  • Able to work in a production environment including occasional work required in outdoor or weather conditions and areas with loud noise.

Desired Competencies:

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
