Job Purpose This Dana facility is located less than three miles from Fiat Chrysler's current Toledo North Assembly Plant, where the current Jeep Wrangler is manufactured. The plant will assemble front and rear axles for the next-generation Jeep Wrangler, keeping the history of the location in Toledo alive. In addition to the proximity to FCA's Toledo plant, Dana's new site is optimally located to support automakers throughout the region. Job Duties and Responsibilities Responsibilities: * Plans and directs activities and daily operations of Shipping/Receiving personnel. * Coordinate all outbound shipments with Production personnel. * Excellent customer communication skills. * Coordinate all inbound shipments from suppliers. * Actively participate in freight reduction initiatives. * Oversees and corrects cycle counts, discrepancies, and inventory accuracy. * Plans, implements, improves material storage, layout and min/max replenishment levels. * Oversees forklift upkeep. * Provides direction and feedback participation for label printing, receipts, and ASN accuracy. * Coordinate and maintain accurate records for all outbound shipments of work in process materials. * Verify and resolve any receiving issues using the system generated reports and inbound paperwork. * Maintaining ISO/TS certification in all aspects of the material handling flow process. Requirements: * College degree - minimally completed associate degree. * Required Skills (minimally required to apply for position): * Proficient in Microsoft word and excel. * MRP system experience * Leadership - experience leading, managing, 4+ associates * Safety conscious - involved, lead, completed manufacturing safety courses. * Quality conscious - involved, lead corrective actions and countermeasure improvements. * Complete team player possessing excellent communication skills within all levels within the facility. Experience leading meetings and staying on task. * Planning, performing, improving, and completing a multitude of tasks in a timely and accurate manner. * Ability to work first or second shift.
