MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:



  • 3 years of experience as Project Manager supporting a DOD program of similar size and scope (33-40 personnel)
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or IT related field and at least 5 years of experience managing a program of similar in size and scope (33-40 personnel)
  • Management experience in an enterprise-level (minimum of 1k users) DOD C4I/IT environment
  • Possess IAT/IAM Level II or greater (e.g. Security+ CE, CCNA Security, etc.)


SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT. THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TOP SECRET / SCI LEVEL

FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING

Scientific Research Corporation (SRC) is an advanced information technology engineering company that provides innovative products and services to government and private industry, as well as independent institutions. At the core of our capabilities is a seasoned team of highly skilled engineers and scientists with multidisciplinary backgrounds. This team is challenged daily to provide cutting edge technology solutions to our clients. SRC is searching for a well-rounded Project Manager to lead project planning and scheduling, budget management, change management, and quality assurance (QA) for the installation requirements for United States Space Command (USSPACECOM) command and control facilities. Manages and coordinates integrated master schedule (IMS), project tasks, and resource management by engaging with functional area managers (FAMs) and other project and systems engineers to ensure installed cabling will support proper systems integration throughout the space. Work supporting USSPACECOM will be conducted at the government's facilities in Colorado Springs, CO.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Develops comprehensive project plans outlining tasks, milestones, deliverables, and timelines
  • Coordinates with stakeholders to ensure alignment with USSPACECOM objectives and requirements
  • Creates and manages the project budget, ensuring funds are allocated appropriately and efficiently
  • Monitors expenditures and ensures the project stays within financial constraints
  • Serves as the primary point of contact between the project team and USSPACECOM stakeholders
  • Facilitates regular meetings and provides updates on project status, risks, and changes
  • Implements quality control processes to ensure deliverables meet USSPACECOM standards and specifications
  • Conducts regular reviews and audits to maintain high-quality project outputs
  • Oversees the selection, negotiation, and management of vendors and contractors
  • Ensures external partners meet contractual obligations and performance standards
  • Manages changes to project scope, schedule, and budget through formal change control processes
  • Ensures that any changes are communicated and approved by stakeholders
  • Maintains detailed project documentation, including plans, reports, and records
  • Prepares and submits regular progress reports to USSPACECOM leadership and other relevant parties
