MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:



  • 5 years of experience as Onsite Program Manager supporting a DOD program of similar in size and scope size and scope ($40M-50M, 35-40 personnel)
  • Active PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Management experience in an enterprise-level (minimum of 3k users) DOD C4I/IT environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or IT related field and at least 15 years of experience managing a program of similar in size and scope ($40M-50M, 35-40 personnel)
  • Possess IAT/IAM Level II or greater (e.g. Security+ CE, CCNA Security, etc.)


SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT. THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TOP SECRET / SCI LEVEL

FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING

At the core of our capabilities is a seasoned team of highly skilled engineers and scientists with multidisciplinary backgrounds. This team is challenged daily to provide cutting edge technology solutions to our clients. SRC is searching for a well-rounded On-Site Program Manager to lead project planning and scheduling, governance and compliance, stakeholder engagement, and financial management for the installation requirements for United States Space Command (USSPACECOM) command and control facilities. Manages and coordinates program scope, goals, and deliverables by engaging with program managers, functional area managers (FAMs) and other project and systems engineers to ensure installed cabling will support proper systems integration throughout the space. Work supporting USSPACECOM will be conducted at the government's facilities in Colorado Springs, CO.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Develops and implements a strategic plan for the IT program that aligns with USSPACECOM goals and objectives
  • Defines program scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with NIWC Pacific FAMs and stakeholders
  • Establishes governance frameworks to ensure the program adheres to USSPACECOM policies, regulations, and security protocols
  • Ensures compliance with all relevant laws and standards, including cybersecurity requirements
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior USSPACECOM officials, project managers, and external partners
  • Facilitates regular communication and reporting to keep stakeholders informed and engaged
  • Develops and manages the program budget, ensuring financial resources are used efficiently and effectively
  • Monitors financial performance and implements corrective actions as needed to stay within budget
  • Identifies, assesses, and mitigates risks across the program to ensure successful outcomes
  • Implements a robust issue management process to address and resolve problems quickly
  • Tracks program performance against established metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Prepares and presents regular status reports and briefings to senior leadership and stakeholders
