Requisition Summary

PACCAR is seeking a talented Intern to join our Emission Compliance team.This internship will assist in improving the process of tracking and reporting warranty data for emissions, Greenhouse Gas, and Zero-Emissions Powertrain parts.

In this role, you will learn the upcoming emission regulations and its impact on PACCAR products, as well as gain experience in industry software such as Tableau.

The internship includes unique learning opportunities such as:

The internship is scheduled to begin in August or September 2024. The duration of this internship will be around 12-weeks.

Job Functions / Responsibilities
  • Study and Analyze EPA and CARB Regulations.
  • Assist in identifying GHG and ZEP related parts.
  • Coordinate with internal Tableau developer to create and improve necessary reports.
  • Participate in warranty database cleansing team projects.
  • Flexibility to address other assignment as needed.
Qualifications / Skills

The skills that are important to be successful in this position are as follows:

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communicationskills.
  • PC skills (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint)
  • High ethical standards, Self-starter.
  • Proven ability to work in a self-directed environment is preferred.
Education

Actively enrolled in an undergraduate or post-graduation program, preferably sophomore, junior or senior standing

The salary range for internship positions is $25 an hour for undergraduate students and $30 an hour for graduate students.
