Sr. Full Stack Developer - Crypto

The SEI special projects team has a challenging and exciting career opportunity for a motivated Senior Full Stack Developer with several years of "hands on" experience. We are chartering new space for SEI, so this position requires a strong foundation of software development knowledge and a passion for building scalable, accessible and maintainable applications and programs with a flair for the user experience.

You should be a champion problem-solver, adaptable to fast changing industry and technical landscapes and show an interest and curiosity for new technologies and challenges in the space. Having a wide range of technical skills and a willingness to support and collaborate with your peers throughout the Agile development lifecycles will set you and us up for success. You should be a programmer with the ability to challenge the status quo and switch contexts quickly and efficiently with project managers, software engineers, technical operations and other personnel.

What you'll do:

  • Working with a dedicated team to designand build robust applications and service suites with a strong appreciation for the user experience
  • Develop high-quality code with afull application context (all tiers) to ensure scalability, accessibility,usability and functional performance
  • Collaborate with softwareengineers for implementation of features and provide constructive peerreviews during the developmentphases and throughout delivery
  • Elevate and evangelize our sharedprocesses and best practices across an array of languages and tools
  • Contribute to our learningcurriculums by preparingdetailed artifacts to share and present to both technical and businessaudiences
  • Deploy integrated code throughvarious build pipelines on premise and in cloud
  • Network with external serviceproviders, internal development teams and business stakeholders to evaluate and execute integration requirements
  • Perform proofs of concept toevaluate new design patterns, service integrations, and proposedsolutions.
  • Stay up to date on the latesttrends, functionalities and tools in the industry for evaluation

What you bring to the table:

  • BS Degree in Computer Science,Computer Engineering or applicable programming area of study
  • A minimum of 5 years prior workexperience working with an application development organization; must demonstrate experience delivering systems and projects from inceptionthrough implementation
  • Have an interest for the currentand future prospects of digital assets and Web 3.0
  • Experience with Java, Spring MVCand/or Spring Boot.
  • Experience with Database accessmethods and simple SQL constructs. Experience with ORM tools (Hibernate,JPA)
  • Demonstrated a commitment toquality, writing unit tests with Junit and Mockito
  • Build & Deployment tools such as Maven, GIT,Terraform a plus
  • Experiencewith container based deployments such as Kubernetes, Docker, DockerCompose, Vagrant is a plus
  • Understand Asynchronous and Synchronousmessaging. Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, JMS, MDBs
  • Work experience with any of thefollowing - PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Linux/UNIX Shell Programming, Python is a plus
  • Work experience in developing WebApplications with Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js,CSS, HTML, Bootstrap is a plus
  • Proficiency in Analysis, Design,Build, and Deployment of Java applications and Microservices
  • Proficiencywith software development processes including quality assurance, code management and Agile Development
  • Financial Services and/or Blockchain background, investment management, asset data and investment processing is preferred
