Unlocking the Potential of Semiconductor Technology

ASML is a high-tech company, headquartered in the Netherlands. We manufacture the complex lithography machines that chipmakers use to produce integrated circuits, or computer chips. Over 30 years, we have grown from a small startup into a multinational company with over 60 locations in 16 countries across Europe, Asia and the US. Behind ASML’s innovations are engineers who think ahead. The people who work at our company include some of the most creative minds in physics, electrical engineering, mathematics, chemistry, mechatronics, optics, mechanical engineering, computer science and software engineering. Because ASML spends more than €2 billion per year on R&D, our teams have the freedom, support and resources to experiment, test and push the boundaries of technology. They work in close-knit, multidisciplinary teams, listening to and learning from each other.

We foster close community ties, working with communities, institutions and interest groups, and encourage our employees to get involved and do their part as well. A company is only as good as its people.

Ensuring Employee Health and Safety

We take responsibility for protecting our employees, by making ASML a safe place to work. Environment, health and safety (EHS) is crucial to creating a safe and trusted working environment. We believe that all work-related injuries and occupational illnesses are preventable. As such, we are working towards a long-term ambition for zero incidents. asml teamworkOur line managers are responsible for day-to-day EHS management and set our processes and policies. Our EHS Competence Center gathers the best practices and defines the EHS standards for ASML, helping our managers to implement these standards. We conduct regular risk and hazard evaluations, which provide further insights into our main risk and hazard areas. We can then take appropriate action to mitigate these risks. We provide employees with EHS training to raise their awareness and operational skills and familiarize them with EHS standards. To improve our EHS performance, we encourage our employees to speak up whenever they encounter safety risks. We investigate all incidents and near-misses to determine the root cause, and take corrective actions to prevent them from recurring or occurring in the future.

Careers

Be a part of the tech company that’s a part of everything.

Technology is a force for good. It connects us and changes how we live, work, and play. At the heart of it all is ASML. Most of the electronic devices you use daily are only possible because of our lithography systems. Working at ASML is unlike working at any other company - even other high-tech companies. It's more extreme and more inspiring, no matter the field you're in. That’s because we push the boundaries of what’s physically possible. Every field of technology stretched to its limits and beyond.
