Lake Superior Consulting was founded in 2002, primarily to address new regulations in the pipeline industry. These changes needed deeper expertise and more person hours. Along the way, LSC developed deep relationships and became trusted partners to some of the largest pipeline companies in the upper midwest.
Growth
These relationships fueled growth as LSC developed a reputation for integrity, which transferred to other parts of our client's business. With a strong discipline of developing work procedures and finding top talent, the technical strength grew along with our financial performance.
Expansion
The business took the guiding principles of growing talent and technical know-how to diversify into other clients, regions, and adjacent industries. In 2012, the company's potential drew the attention of venture capital and was purchased by the Wolfcreek Energy Group. The company was subsequently sold to Shawcor in 2016.
Future
The business was acquired back from Shawcor in September 2022 by members of LSC's leadership team. We have worked to clarify our mission and vision and are striving toward serving our customers in the next chapter of our energy infrastructure. We are committed to joining our clients in the journey to cleaner energy and a more sustainable future.
