HX5 is seeking a USAF SME to provide system administrative functions to the complete spectrum of mission planning systems at Hill Air Force Base.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Subject Matter Expert on USAF mission planning equipment, hardware, computers, and associated peripherals used throughout the mission planning spectrum, as directed by the Program Manager.
• Maintain hardware/software configuration management and control of other mission planning spectrum applications of installed Mission Planning Equipment.
• Act as the Tier 2 Deficiency Investigation Subject Matter Expert on Mission Planning software and hardware.
• The primary focal point for mission planning software and hardware from end users through USAF.
• Make recommendations on mission planning systems configuration, software, and hardware technical specification discussions supporting new Mission Planning Equipment configuration. Support Tier 2 Deficiency Investigation and Subject Matter Expert on mission planning systems, software, and hardware.
• Travel to worldwide locations to establish operational mission planning systems in locations with little or no SSR support.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and client personnel

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of a top secret security clearance at the time of hire
• Must be able and willing to obtain the minimum certification of DoD 8570 IAT Level II within 6 months of hire
• Must be able to complete a US government background investigation

Preferences

• Bachelor's degree preferred or five (5) years of relevant work experience may be substituted for degree
• Minimum of DoD8570 Level IAT Level II Certification within 6 months from date of hire
