Curriculum Manager, IT Ops

Job Description:

The role of Curriculum Manager is responsible for the research, development, execution and maintenance of curated technology content curricula within designated content domains, across all content mediums supported by the Pluralsight platform. The Curriculum Manager, IT Ops is our resident IT Operations and DevOps content expert who brings their subject matter expertise to bear in developing our curriculum direction efforts. Curriculum Managers work under the direction of a Director of Curriculum and collaborate with additional members of the Curriculum and Content Team to facilitate operational activities for all stages of the content creation pipeline, from expert recruitment to content publication and lifecycle management.

What you'll do:
  • Curriculum strategy for all IT Ops topical areas with guidance provided by curriculum leadership

  • The development, publication and maintenance of curriculum roadmaps for all IT Ops subdomains, across all platform-supported content types

  • Management of the IT Ops library of published courses

  • Guidance given to other members of the Curriculum and Content Team in the evaluation, development and approval of prospective authors and content proposals

  • Collaboration with other teams to develop tooling and workflows for the implementation of curriculum plans across all stages of the content creation pipeline

  • Management of curated learning paths and content learning experiences, based on customer and industry demand

Experience you'll bring:
  • Certifications such as CCNA, CCIE, CompTIA Network+, or related.

  • Experience designing and delivering IT training content, or presenting talks at conferences or events

  • Previous experience in an IT operational role.

Requirements:

  • A proven track record in technical education with knowledge of instructional design techniques and approaches

  • Technical expertise with experience as a practitioner and an instructor, or a demonstrated ability to rapidly research, analyze and comprehend the necessary topical areas at a planning level

  • Familiarity with audio and video production, or other types of graphical communication

  • Bachelor or graduate degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent industry experience
