SUMMARY:

The Planning Specialist will assist with tolling, imports, and the MSO network. The Planning Specialist will be responsible for the order fulfillment, raw material forecasting, and associated processes for these operations within the SNF Inc. scope, which includes planning finished goods, intermediates, and specific raw material needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Responsible for the 3rd party and MSO network workflow through various systems (D365, OMNIS), including all raw material transfers, coordinating with procurement for purchase requisitions for raw material and finished goods, and maintaining an accurate inventory of both raw materials and finished goods.
  • Create and maintain demand forecasts to effectively plan raw material consumption and finish good production at 3rd party and ancillary facilities.
  • Work with scheduling to prepare block scheduling runs to meet inventory requirements and improve the efficiency of manufacturing processes.
  • Develop procedures and tools that will allow for more efficient data capture and communication of our third-party manufacturing partners' general status and MSO network.
  • Interface with Quality as needed to resolve customer complaints related to tolling or third-party manufacturing relating to non-technical aspects.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor in Science. Supply Chain preferred or related field.
  • 1-3 years of planning or scheduling supply chain activities preferred.
  • Working knowledge of OMNIS/D365 or other MRP planning systems.
  • Ability to support remote workgroups.
  • Ability to interface with senior management.
  • Complex problem-solving skills.
  • Strong computer skills, especially with the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Effective written and verbal skills.
  • Ability to influence without direct supervisory/hierarchical control.
  • Consensus builder.
  • Systems thinker.
