SUMMARY:

The Demand-Inventory Planning Manager manages a team that oversees production planning and inventory. The team is responsible for developing and maintaining an inventory model to improve SNF's ability to meet customer needs. The Demand and Inventory Planning Manager role will primarily guide the department in translating business forecasts and preparing comprehensive production and sourcing plans for finished goods. The team will use these production plans to determine material requirements to be shared with respective stakeholders. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders are essential for success in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Manages a team to develop an inventory model to improve customer service.
  • Maintains planned inventory while identifying and working with Product Management to reduce slow-moving inventory.
  • Responsible for developing short- and long-term plans directly impacting company goals and objectives.
  • Monitors forecasting accuracy to communicate additional information needs to Product Management.
  • Tracks utilization of assets, including scheduled downtime, asset allocation, and impacts due to product mix.
  • Creating and refining tools to better calculate material requirements.
  • Charting a direction for the department, setting goals for the team, and achieving desired results.
  • Developing a culture of sustainability and continuous improvement within the team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree is required, preferably in Business, Supply Chain, or other related fields.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Leadership Skills.
  • Ability to drive cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate up, down, and across levels.
  • PowerBI or Tableau Skills are preferred.
